The worst thing I know, is unnecessary suffering.
I just can't stand it. It's a feeling far worse than encountering another expression of human stupidity. I'm not sure what to call this emotion, it may be regret, or perhaps it is disgust. But it is strong and I think this lies at the core of my empathy, for not just humans, but for everything. If it can suffer, and I'll define 'suffer' right up, it deserves my respect and heartfelt care.
Suffering exists of three things. One is the capability to experience physical and emotional pain. Two is registering that pain. Three is dealing with that registered pain, as in psychological trauma and stress. If something suffers, I want to help it. I don't think it is supposed to be called a weakness, of course the idiot masculine indoctrinates will say it is; but I think it is humanity. Altruism, this kind of empathy, enables us to define what is right and what is wrong. We don't need God or other people telling us what is right and what is wrong. Do wrong to none.
The second worst thing is the second half of the series of Star Wars, episodes 4, 5 and 6.
This post will seem short, and I agree: it is. But I've been drinking this gorgeous wine, called Guillaume (which happens to be the name of my first and so far only pupil of the didactic coach job I had with Humanitas); a Merlot from le pays d'oc. And I'm loving it. In other news: the sidebar has finally been updated with more blond men, hurray!

As the Buddha taught, there are two reasons for emotional suffering: craving and attachment. And there are numerous ways of dealing with it.
Nice gallery of blonde men!
